Dear <<Salutation>>,
In these past few days, I have been reminded time and again of God’s faithfulness. As disaster struck, first in Myanmar, and then closer to home in Iowa, God opened doors for us to serve our neighbors in need. And He used you to partner with us. Through your financial donations and generous sacrifice of time as volunteers, ISOH/IMPACT has been able to respond quickly and efficiently to the disaster victims.
In this month’s e-newsletter, you will read the stories of how you are helping to build the Lord’s kingdom by Reaching Out and Serving Others. I want to know how God is working in your life. Have you experienced His faithfulness this past month? Send me an email and tell me your story. I won’t share it with anyone unless you say I can.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. I look forward to hearing from you.
Reaching Out & Serving Others,

Linda Greene
President and CEO

Building Today, Changing Tomorrow
We continue to make progress with our Capital Campaign to build the ISOH/IMPACT Disaster Response Center. Our kick off party on May 20 brought together friends and supporters from around the area and provided a special time to share our mission with others.
We have hit the halfway mark, and we give thanks to God for His faithfulness to us. But we still need to raise nearly $600,000 to complete the project. You can partner with us to build today and change tomorrow for countless people in places like Tajikistan, Honduras, and Haiti.

Reaching Out & Serving Others
In Iowa
ISOH/IMPACT has been able to respond rapidly to our neighbors in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where floodwaters washed out homes and businesses, causing extensive damage and trauma.
We held a local relief drive June 20-22 to gather materials for Cedar Rapids. Craig Transport partnered with ISOH/IMPACT to lend a commercial trailer to help transport the relief supplies. The shipment is being delivered to the Cedar Rapids YMCA and distributed to flood victims even as you are receiving this email.
ISOH/IMPACT would also like to thank Randy Jones at Tireman and Chico’s at Levis Commons for donating a portion of their sales to our relief efforts. We are grateful to Larry Dillin, CEO and President of Dillin Corp., for allowing us to utilize space in Levis Commons while we build the Disaster Response Center. Countless other organizations and donors have joined with us in responding to the Iowa flood victims. Thank you!
You, too, can help us make a difference to those who have lost everything in Iowa.

Your donation of $50 or even $75 will help us cover transportation costs and ensure that we can continue to respond to the needs of the flood victims. |
In Myanmar
Thanks to your generous response to the need in Myanmar, ISOH/IMPACT was able to ship several tons of relief supplies to the cyclone victims. Over the past few years, we have been blessed with the opportunity to form a strong partnership with a local organization working to serve the people of Myanmar. Out of sensitivity to the delicate political situation and to protect the people we work with, we are not able to provide details of names or regions where we serve in Myanmar. But your support and donated items are helping to ease the pain of those who lost their families, homes, crops, and entire livelihoods. Thanks to your generosity, they know people like you care about them. And we now have an opportunity to share the love and good news of Jesus Christ. Thank you!

To help us continue to meet the needs of disaster victims in Myanmar and around the world, you can donate online. Your contribution of $50 helps us ship nearly 15 pounds of relief supplies. |
