Getting Started

It is through the generosity of people like you that ISOH/IMPACT is able to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. Throughout its history, ISOH/IMPACT has been sustained in large measure not only by individual gifts, but also by corporations acting out of charitable and humanitarian motivations. This support may come in the form of general funding, which allows ISOH/IMPACT to direct the money where it determines the need is greatest, or it may be designated for a particular program or region in which the donator has an interest.

Donations can be made by credit card (over the phone or online by using the button in the right column), checks, or pledges. You may wish to make a donation in the name of friends or a loved one. You can also consider donating stock or planned giving.

Consider sponsoring a child. A sponsored child is supported by a team of compassionate Christians who provide health care, education, and nutritious food regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background. These resources and expertise are not just to provide the basic needs of life…but to show a child the love of God.

Sponsor one of our Child to Child projects. These projects help to teach compassion to children who do not have enough knowledge about disasters and the impact they have on the lives of other children.

Help Through Commodities

ISOH/IMPACT accepts donations for disaster relief and long-term programs. Some of the donations are food, grains, nutritional supplements, medicines, medical supplies, personal hygiene items, blankets, toys, and gift cards.

ISOH/IMPACT accepts donations of commodities with the following guidelines:

• items that are six months or more from their expiration date
• discontinued commodity lines
• surplus products
• commodities with outdated designs on the package
• commodities that were overproduced
• other commodities that may not be used by the manufacturer but meet FDA standards
• wholesaler returns
• food drives.

• do not meet FDA standards
• medicines from individuals
• used or damaged clothing, toys and blankets
• any items that are unusable, unsafe.
