Our Core Values
The underlying principle on which ISOH/IMPACT operates is summarized
by the following principles:
Principle one: A holistic awareness
To promote the healthy development of a child, it is necessary to consider the child as a whole.
Principle two: community awareness
In order to grow and develop normally, children need to belong to a family and community and to interact with adults.
Principle three: A collaborative awareness
ISOH/IMPACT keeps the need for networking in mind.
Principle four: An integrated awareness
ISOH/IMPACT collaborates with individuals, community based organizations, governmental and non governmental organizations.
Principle five: People awareness
ISOH/IMPACT believes effective child welfare begins with the individual child in disasters and emergencies. ISOH/IMPACT looks at the quality of help to the individual not the quantity of help in total. Children and their families come first.
Principle six: Participant awareness
ISOH/IMPACT nurtures the process of exchanging information.
Principle seven: Board and long-term awareness
A commitment to children affected by famine, wars, and disasters is not taken lightly. To be child sensitive, ISOH/IMPACT and partners designed a broad-based network system that is committed to long-term sustainability.
