ISOH/IMPACT's Annual Independent Audit for 2010 confirms that we are on a path of growth and increased financial stewardship.
Here's a highlight of the most important numbers for our 2010 fiscal year:
- Total gifts and support: $11.6 million
- Money spent directly on our programs and the people we serve: $11.3 million
- Money spent on administrative and fundraising expenses: $245,500
In 2010, just over $0.02 of every $1.00 went to cover administrative or fundraising costs. That means that $0.98 of every $1.00 raised went directly to our programs––programs that change communities and heal broken lives.
Thanks to you, 317 total shipments of food, medical supplies and other relief aid valued at more than $9.1 million were collected, shipped, and distributed locally, nationally and internationally. Nearly 10 million servings of food went out to hungry families right here at home and around the world in places like Haiti, Tajikistan, and Honduras. Our bucket Brigade also sent out 1,804 buckets of life-saving food and disaster supplies to those who needed them the most throughout the year of 2010.
ISOH/IMPACT is now looking forward toward the future with our International Hope Center, a project that will allow us to double our response to those in need. We estimate over the next several years, ISOH/IMPACT will be able to collect, ship and distribute an estimated $104 million in food, medical assistance and education supplies to disaster victims and impoverished families locally, nationally, and internationally.
Because of you, ISOH/IMPACT continues to make a difference in the world by Reaching Out & Serving Others. On behalf of the thousands of people who benefit from your support, we say THANK YOU!
