In the aftermath of Haiti's deady earthquake, ISOH/IMPACT has been partnering with Double Harvest, a Haiti-based agricultural and development organization, to provide medical care and food to the survivors.
"We want to feed people in a way that is dignified and orderly, without just throwing food at them," said Frantz Angus, Double Harvest Executive Director.
ISOH/IMPACT has sent containers with thousands of servings of life-saving food and supplies directly to Double Harvest, who is in a position distribute the food efficiently and securely. Double Harvest has implemented a system using color-coded ID bracelets to identify food recipients by village. A bracelet is given to the eldest woman in each household, allowing them to receive their food aid with safety and dignity.
We also continue to provide medical support to the Double Harvest hospital, where an ISOH/IMPACT medical response team performed hundreds of surgeries in the early days following the earthquake.
We thank our many friends and supporters in Ohio and around the nation for donations of food and money to Haiti's earthquake survivors. You are providing a lifeline for malnourished children and hungry families. By joining us in Reaching Out & Serving Others, you are giving hope, life, and dignity to mothers and their children. Thank you!

ISOH/IMPACT spends more than $0.97 out of every $1.00 directly on the people we serve. And we were named a 4-star charity by Charity Navigator 2 years in a row.
